Privacy Policy
Rosary & Mercy ("we") runs rosaryandmercy.com. We collect as little as we can. You can read and pray everything on this site without giving us anything.
What we collect
If you join the waitlist (on the signup page, at the end of a rosary, or on the daily prayer page), we store:
- your email address;
- the prayers you chose and the reminder times you set, if any;
- your time zone, read from your browser, so reminders arrive at your local time;
- which page you signed up from (for example "daily-prayer"), so we know which pages are useful;
- the dates you signed up, confirmed and unsubscribed.
Server logs. Like every website, our servers and our network provider see your IP address and browser details when you load a page. We use these only to keep the site running and secure.
We don't use advertising, analytics trackers, tracking cookies or social media pixels.
Stored on your device, not with us
Your prayer streak, your novena progress and whether you closed the waitlist bar are saved in your browser's local storage. They never leave your device. Clearing your browser data removes them.
How we use your email
We send you one email to confirm your address. After you confirm, we'll email you when daily prayer reminders are ready, and then only the reminders you asked for. We never sell, rent or share your email for anyone else's marketing.
Who helps us
- Resend sends our emails. It receives your email address and the message we send you.
- Cloudflare delivers the site and protects it from attacks. It processes your IP address when you visit.
- OVHcloud hosts the server where the site and the waitlist are stored.
Each processes data only to provide its service to us.
Unsubscribing and deleting your data
Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link. To have your data deleted entirely, or to see what we hold about you, email [email protected] and we'll take care of it. If you never confirm your email, we delete it after 30 days.
Children
The waitlist is for adults. We don't knowingly collect email addresses from children under 13. If you think a child has signed up, tell us and we'll delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date above. If a change affects how we use your email, we'll tell you by email first.
